Project:
The incredible story of Fritz Helmuth––an Amish kid who bought a special car and the journey that brought him to LaVine Restorations and beyond.
One of only 100 built, this 1970 AMC Javelin SST Trans-Am is the rarest of the street legal AMCs and a true beauty of a muscle car. This particular example is a two-owner car, with the current ownership dating back to 1971! Years of research, countless original and NOS parts, and a drive for authenticity went into this meticulous restoration. As a result, the car received a Gold Award at its debut at the 2018 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals. Thereafter, the car has received a 2019 Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance Best-in-Class, 2019 AMO Junior First (with a perfect score), 2019 MoPar Nationals Class Award, 2019 AACA Bomgardner National Award, 2019 MCACN Gold Award, and 2020 Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance Best-in-Class.
The pursuit for 1000 points continues.
